Risk Reduction Program

Marcus Cardiac Rehabilitation Center

The Risk Reduction Program at the Marcus Cardiac Rehabilitation Center can help you reduce your risk before you develop heart disease. The program is for individuals who do not have a cardiac diagnosis, but have been identified by their doctor as being at high risk for heart disease. The Risk Reduction Program includes group education, exercise sessions, and individual dietary counseling.

The Marcus Cardiac Rehabilitation Center requires participants to have a doctor referral and a current stress test before joining the program. Staff initially monitors newcomers with telemetry monitoring, and gradually reduces monitoring as participants learn to exercise properly.
