Our team is committed to your success. To assist you in reaching your goals, we offer a dedicated monthly support group that provides education, nutritional support, medical advice, and guest speakers. The group meets the third Wednesday of every month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Robilotti Conference Room at Danbury Hospital
Support Groups Make a Difference
Research shows that patients who attend support groups are more successful with their weight loss and mental adjustment than people who do not, especially long term. You learn first hand about weight loss surgery from patients who have experienced the process. You also have the opportunity to share your experiences.
Together We Can Do This
Attending the support group also is a wonderful opportunity to make new friends and be with people who share what you are experiencing. It can be reassuring to hear other's viewpoints on common concerns. The staff at the Danbury Hospital Center for Weight Loss Surgery is confident that you will find these meetings helpful in many ways. Family and friends are always welcome to attend.
