Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Completion of the EMT-Basic course qualifies you to take the National Registry exams to receive your Connecticut and National EMT-B certification. Our EMT Bridge Course far exceeds the requirements for the state and national EMS curricula. We offer hands-on experience and supplement classroom lecture with real world practice in the Danbury Hospital Emergency Department and working on the ambulance with our experienced EMTs and Paramedics.
As a member of the EMS team, you can make a difference in the lives of others. During your EMT training, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are necessary to be a valuable part of the emergency health care system and the community.
To qualify for the bridge course, students must possess a current State of Connecticut Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certificate.
