Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Our EMS teams provide around the clock services in conjunction with Danbury Hospital - a Level II Trauma Center - and New Milford Hospital, which both provide 24-hour emergency care for people in Fairfield and Litchfield counties in Connecticut, and in the nearby Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester counties of New York. Together, the hospitals handle nearly 90,000 emergency visits annually, collaborating to ensure that timely and expert assessment in the field supports the highest quality outcomes for sudden or severe illness and injury. Our EMS teams in many locations are well-trained and equipped to facilitate efficient care and transportation for life-threatening cardiac emergencies and traumatic injuries with confidence and compassion. Our ultimate goal is to see that each and every patient gets the right care, in the right location, at the right time.
