Danbury Hospital's Non-Invasive Cardiology Program provides Echocardiogrophy Services. Echocardiography uses ultrasound to make a picture of the heart, which helps your doctor to develop a plan of care.
Echocardiograms Help to Evaluate
- Congenital and acquired heart defects
- The size of the heart and its chambers
- The function of the heart muscle and heart valves
- Excessive fluid in the membrane that surrounds the heart
