Quality and Safety Performance

Welcome to the Quality and Safety section of our website. We believe that giving you the best quality and safest care are our most important responsibilities. Those words, quality and safety, are not always so easy to understand, so we’ve tried to define them for you in the section, Performance Reports.

Quality and Safety of Danbury Hospital

We also report, in that section, on some well recognized measures of quality and safety–and why they are important to you. You deserve to know how we’re doing.

How we achieve our results in quality and safety involves some key principles. Our Board of Director demands it. The entire organization is committed to it. We spend a lot of time on it. We measure it constantly and hold ourselves accountable. We have terrific and well trained staff. And we constantly seek and implement best practices that ensure great outcomes.

We’ve listed a few of the best practices, from technology to teamwork, that help us achieve our results in the section, What We’re Doing.

And while we’re at it, it’s also very important that you have the best possible experience with us, no matter where or when you come in contact with our staff or services. That means you are treated with all the respect you deserve, and feel valued. We measure that experience also, through surveys and reports, in Patient Satisfaction.

We see you as our partner in this effort. We welcome your comments and suggestions.
