We strive to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds who have an interest in medicine, science, and public health to donate their time toward helping with clinical research and education. We offer many opportunities to individuals willing to work with our department. Our internship programs offer student volunteers exposure to clinically based research in a large institution serving a diverse community.
Generally we look for volunteers or interns with the following criteria:

- Work with various departments to enter study data
- Assist with the development and implementation of clinical trials (includes experiencing patient visits) and original epidemiologic research
