Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Danbury Hospital. We are so excited to announce the arrival of our new Chair, Dr. Shohreh Shahabi, a renowned gynecologist oncologist from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center. We are also excited to announce our new Director of Research, Dr. Cristiano Ferlini from Catholic University in Rome, Italy.
The two new additions to our faculty will only serve to enhance our already successful training program. In the near future we will also be renovating our Labor and Delivery unit along with our Level IIIB NICU.
