School of Radiologic Technology

With additional training, the technologist may be employed in special procedures such as computerized tomography, MRI, mammography, bone density, interventional radiography, and cardiac catheterization.  With further education, they may consider careers in ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and radiation oncology. In addition, they may utilize their skills in education, research, technical sales, and management.

A new graduate of the School of Radiologic Technology could expect to be hired as a radiographer. They may work in a hospital, outpatient imaging center, orthopedic doctor’s office, or OB/GYN doctor’s office.
