Low Vision

Occupational therapy provided through a partnership with the Lions Low Vision Centers of Connecticut.

Low vision can be best defined as a visual disability that can no longer be corrected by ordinary glasses, contact lenses, medicine, or surgery. Common conditions causing low vision are macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, neurological problems, and untreated cataracts.
