Employment Application Process

Danbury Hospital requires all job applicants to complete an online application.

Our applicant volume is very high. We currently receive more than 24,000 job applications each year, and can only invite the best-qualified candidates for interviews. However, all job applicants will receive an acknowledgement by email to confirm that application has been received.

Once your qualifications have been reviewed by our Human Resources staff, you will receive further email correspondence updating you on the status of your application. Qualified candidates for whom there is a suitable opening are typically contacted to schedule a phone interview within 7 to 10 business days after applying online. Before a job offer is made, one or more personal interviews will be required.

Following a job offer, an employee physical and drug testing are conditions of employment. All employees are required to attend New Employee Orientation before starting work.
