Run Like a Mother 5k Race

The Run Like a Mother 5k Race is having a clinic that is geared towards the new runner. There will be four clinical speakers for about ten minutes each with questions and answers to immediately follow.
- Dr. Ross Henshaw of Danbury Orthopedics will discuss "Common Running Injuries"
- Dr. Kate Campebell of Ridgefield Physical Therapy will talk about "Basic Running Mechanics"
- Pedorthist Brenda Bastedo will educate the group on "The Impact of Foot Type"
- Dr. Bond will cover "Knowing One's Heart" which includes cardiac risk reduction, heart-healthy life-styles and understanding one's cardiac risk.
