Go Red for Women
February is American Heart Month. “Go Red for Women” by wearing something red or a special pin to raise awareness of heart disease, women’s No. 1 killer. The American Heart Association’s campaign is a call to action for women to take charge of their heart health. This is to empower women to take charge of their heart health, make it a top priority and live a stronger, longer life. Cardiovascular diseases claim more women's lives than the next seven causes of death combined. That equals about 500,000 lives a year!
A special red dress pin is available from the American Heart Association and can be worn to show support for women affected by heart disease and stroke.
Please wear RED Friday, February 5th to show your support.
Red Dress Pins will be available in the 5 Tower Lobby at Danbury Hospital 7:30-8:30am and 11:30am to 1:30pm for a $1 donation.
