Advances in the Management of Gynecological Malignancies, Sexuality, and Reproductive Issues
Goal
The conference will consist of a morning dedicated to the discussion of current advances in the management of gynecological cancers and side effects of treatment. Topics will include endometrial cancer, sexuality issues, the use of robotic surgery, fertility issues, research, and the pregnant mother with a malignancy.
Course Objectives
After attending this conference, the attendees will be able to:
- Discuss the clinical management of endometrial cancer related to obesity
- Review management of issues related to sexuality and fertility
- Explain current research and treatment for gynecological cancers
- Identify current uses of robotic surgery in treatment of malignancies
- Describe the Danbury Hospital GYN Oncology program
