Fellowship trained in vascular and endovascular surgery, Dr. Hsu provides comprehensive care in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular disease. He offers comprehensive surgical and minimally invasive techniques in the treatment of both arterial and venous pathology, including complex endovascular operations and minimally invasive venous procedures.

“Endovascular surgery is emerging as the standard of care in the treatment of many aspects of vascular disease, and we are constantly advancing the scope of this complex therapy. We have successfully incorporated tibial angioplasty and orbital atherectomy into our peripheral interventions, staying at the forefront of limb salvage. Rotational atherectomy decreases the plaque burden in the diseased artery, as opposed to displacing the plaque with angioplasty and stent placement. It may provide superior patency than traditional methods. Tibial angioplasty is an alternative to distal bypass in high-risk patients, and has shown promising limb salvage rates. The ability to provide multi-modality therapy to our patients is one of the distinguishing features of vascular surgery at Danbury Hospital.”
