The only fellowship-trained breast surgeon in the region, Dr. Staradub is the Medical
Director of Danbury Hospital’s
Breast Care Program. Prior to coming to Danbury Hospital, Dr. Staradub was
on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and was on staff at Beth Israel Deaconess
Medical Center. She completed her fellowship at the Lynn Sage Comprehensive Breast
Center at Northwestern University.
Dr. Staradub, whose practice is entirely dedicated to breast surgery, treats patients
with both benign and malignant diseases, utilizing the latest tools and techniques.
Dr. Staradub leads the multidisciplinary Tumor Board. This forum allows for collaborative
review of complex cases and helps connect patients with clinical trials. Information
sharing and seamless collaboration are also key strategies that Dr. Staradub applies
to patient care. Patients are educated throughout their journey so they can make
the decisions that are right for them.
