Dr. Alan Dietzek is the Chief of Vascular Surgery and holds the Linda and Stephen R. Cohen Chair in Vascular Surgery at Danbury Hospital. In addition he directs the fully accredited Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory and the Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine.
A fellowship-trained vein specialist, Dr. Dietzek utilizes a hybrid operating room equipped with advanced imaging to improve coordination, quality and safety for some of the most complex vascular surgeries. As a principal investigator for trials involving aortic stent grafts, endovascular (limb) revascularization and deep vein thrombosis, his vast experience offers patients a wide variety of noninvasive and minimally invasive options to for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease, both arterial and venous.
