New Milford Hospital Announces Bi-monthly Author’s Series Lectures for October and December

New Milford Hospital (located at 21 Elm Street) hosts a bi-monthly Author’s Series Lectures in Robison Room B featuring authors of books who speak about their latest work.

The third lecture in the series takes place at the Hospital on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at 6 p.m., featuring John Cilio, author of "Women’s Work in WWII," a chronological story about the convoluted social and political development that enabled women to gain equal employment in thousands of jobs coupled with the parallel story of WWII. Their productivity surprised the enemy and the nation's leaders.

The fourth bi-monthly Author’s Series Lecture will be held at New Milford Hospital on Wednesday, December 4th at 6 p.m., featuring Matthew Warshauer, author of "Connecticut in the American Civil War: Slavery, Sacrifice, and Survival."
