New Milford Hospital Hosts Next Series of Strong Women™ Strong Bones Fitness Program
New Milford Hospital will host the next series of Strong Women Strong Bones fitness programs at one community location starting July 15th and will resume programs at its three regular locations in September. Each session affords seven weeks (two classes per week) of exercise targeted to middle-aged and older women to increase strength, balance and flexibility, and is appropriate for both sedentary and active women.
Strong Women Strong Bones is a national, evidence based fitness program designed to prevent and reverse osteoporosis/osteopinea and promote general health and wellness.
The next series of seven-week classes begin on the following dates and locations:

The cost is $85 for seven weeks of classes, however, the fee is pro-rated if you plan to join mid-session.
About the Program
Strong Women Strong Bones is a nationally recognized fitness program led by Tufts University instructor Lisa Marie Lee. Health and wellness benefits include arthritis relief, restoration of balance and flexibility, strengthening of bones, proper weight maintenance, and improved glucose control and heart health.
About the Instructor
Lisa Marie Lee is a certified yoga instructor and massage therapist. She completed the Tufts University Strong Women training in 2004, and served as a Strong Women Program leader at Hartford Hospital for several years.
