Danbury Hospital Orthopedic and Physical Medicine Experts Conduct Fall Prevention Program and Screening at Meadow Ridge
The public is invited to interact with physical medicine and orthopedic experts from the Center for Advanced Orthopedics at Danbury Hospital and the Main Street Physical Rehabilitation Center at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2009 at Meadow Ridge, 100 Redding Road, Redding. The community health and wellness program discusses ways to help you stay healthy through physical activity, addresses risk factors related to falls and osteoporosis (yes, this means men, too!), and ways to gain strength through exercise.
There’s something for everyone in this interactive presentation by Robert Deveney, M.D., co-director of the Joint Replacement Program at the Center for Advanced Orthopedics at Danbury Hospital, and Tak Hung, supervisor of adult therapy services at Danbury Hospital’s Main Street Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center.
The fall prevention program and screening begin at 6 p.m., and refreshments also will be served. For more information call 1-800-511-9816.
