Workshop to Focus on Grief Associated with Mother's Day
For some people when their mother has died, Mother’s Day can be a very lonely time. To help adults experiencing the loss of their mother, Healing Hearts will offer the workshop “Mother’s Day When Your Mother Has Died” on May 5, 2010 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. The workshop is offered at no cost and will take place at The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families at 73 Stadley Rough Road in Danbury, Connecticut. Participants will find insight and learn strategies to cope during Mother’s Day.
The workshop facilitator is Sherry Renne, MSW, a facilitator at The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families. She earned a master’s in social work from Fordham University and has experience providing trauma-focused treatment for individuals and families.
