Danbury Hospital Conducts Cardiac Health and Wellness Program and Screening at Meadow Ridge

The public is invited to interact with cardiovascular health experts from Danbury Hospital’s Praxair Regional Heart and Vascular Center on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Meadow Ridge, 100 Redding Road in Redding, starting at 5:30 p.m.

Featured speaker will be cardiologist Brian Pollack, M.D., an attending cardiologist in the Department of Cardiology at Danbury Hospital. He will discuss the risk factors, chronic diseases, and lifestyle choices that contribute to heart disease and other serious health concerns. Dr. Pollack is a practicing physician at Cardiac Specialists, P.C. in Ridgefield.

Staff from the Praxair Regional Heart and Vascular Center at Danbury Hospital will conduct free heart health risk factor assessments and blood pressure screenings from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Dr. Pollack’s heart healthy lecture begins promptly at 6:30 p.m.
