Vascular Surgeon Richard Hsu MD PhD Joins Danbury Office of Physician Services

The Danbury Office of Physician Services, P.C. is pleased to announce that Richard Hsu, MD, PhD has joined the Danbury Hospital Department of Surgery, Section of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Hsu is a practicing physician at Danbury Medical Arts Center located at 111 Osborne Street in Danbury, CT.

Dr. Hsu earned his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Stanford University Hospital and Clinics in Stanford, CA. He completed his vascular fellowship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at the Harvard University School of Medicine. Board-certified by the American College of Surgeons in General Surgery, Dr. Hsu’s clinical expertise is in vascular and endovascular management of:

  • Arterial Aneurysms
  • Peripheral arterial occlusive disease
  • Extracranial cerebrovascular disease

Venous diseases including:

  • Varicose veins
  • Thrombosis
  • Occlusions

Dr. Hsu has his PhD in Neuroscience from Yale University and has held past research positions at the National Institutes of Health and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
