Here We Grow Again For You!
In accordance with Danbury Hospital’s ongoing effort to bring you the highest level of care, we’re growing with a new garage and Tower.
Construction and Blasting Update
Periodic blasting will occur at the Tower Construction Site located at 24 Hospital Avenue beginning on Monday, April 18, 2011 at approximately 1pm. Blasting will continue into early May.
Please become familiar with these advance safety warnings. Don’t be alarmed by noise or vibration as some is expected.
Blast Site Security and Warning Whistles
For patients and visitors, 5 minutes prior to the blast an overhead page will announce: “Your attention please, CODE C, Construction Activity”
Blast warning whistles will be activated in the following sequence:

3 Whistles - 5 minutes to Blast All traffic will be halted and pedestrians moved indoors

2 Whistles - 1 minute to Blast No one may exit the Hospital Avenue side of the buildings

1 Whistle - All clear resume normal activities. An overhead page within the hospital will announce “CODE C is now terminated”.
