New Milford Hospital to Provide Free Skin Cancer Screening July 30
The New Milford Hospital Regional Cancer Center is holding a free skin cancer screening on Saturday, July 30 from 9 am –noon BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. These screenings will be provided by physicians from Dermatology Associates of Western Connecticut.
According to the American Academy of Dermatology, over 2 million Americans develop skin cancer each year. Skin cancer is the most prevalent of all cancers, but fortunately skin cancers are relatively easy to detect and most can be cured. Even malignant melanoma, if caught in its early stages, can be treated successfully.
The public is invited and encouraged to take advantage of this free screening.
