Danbury Hospital Launches Clinical Pastoral Education Program for 2012 -2013
Danbury Hospital announces the start of its annualClinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program in September for individuals interested in supporting patients by serving as hospital chaplains. The nine-month program begins Monday, September 10 and continues until May 2013. Participants will attend educational meetings from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Mondays, while providing 11 hours of weekly clinical time (visiting patients, hours are flexible). This educational program provides an enriching chaplaincy experience for participants while they learn about themselves, their own faith journey, and about the spiritual dynamics of hospitalization.
