New Milford Hospital Offers Morning and Evening Strong Women™ Strong Bones Fitness Program Classes

New Milford Hospital offers both morning and evening classes of the Strong Women Strong Bones (SWSB) fitness program at New Milford Hospital starting in May and continuing into the summer months. Also, SWSB fitness classes that are held in Kent and Washington are available at their usual time and location.

Cost for the seven week fitness program classes is $85, and the fee is pro-rated if participants join during mid-session. The late spring and summer SWSB schedule of classes, follow:

About the Program

Strong Women Strong Bones is a nationally recognized fitness program led by Tufts University instructor Lisa Marie Lee. Health and wellness benefits include arthritis relief, restoration of balance and flexibility, strengthening of bones, proper weight maintenance, and improved glucose control and heart health.

About the Instructors

Lisa Marie Lee is a certified yoga instructor and massage therapist. She completed the Tufts University Strong Women training in 2004, and served as a Strong Women Program leader at Hartford Hospital for several years.

Veronica Kleeman, the instructor for Washington Depot, completed her certification in 2013.
