Adult Volunteer Opportunities Available at New Milford Hospital
New Milford Hospital is seeking adult volunteers who would like to enrich their life and touch the lives of others by helping out in various areas of the Hospital. Adult volunteer opportunities exist in the Arnhold Emergency Department, Department of Radiology/MRI, Gift Shop, Diebold Family Cancer Center, and to serve as patient escorts/ambassadors.
If you are an adult who enjoys helping others while making a positive contribution to your community, then becoming a New Milford Hospital volunteer is the right place for you.
New Milford Hospital adult volunteers are required to attend a volunteer orientation and information session, followed by a one-on-one interview with the volunteer coordinator. During the interview, particular interests are discussed, and they will do their best to match volunteers in an available assignment area of interest. Once volunteers are matched to an assignment, they will receive departmental training for that role at New Milford Hospital.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please call Cathy Gabianellli, New Milford Hospital Volunteer Coordinator, at 860-210-5287, or register online to attend the next volunteer orientation session that will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2014.
