Danbury Office of Physician Services, P.C. (DOPS) is a wide-reaching physician multi-specialty group, serving residents of Western Connecticut and Southeastern New York. We are a not-for profit corporation established on October 1, 1985. The purpose of the organization is to render medical and surgical services.
Our goal is to provide our patients with safe, innovative, convenient, and coordinated medical care in the communities that we serve.

Our main campus is located at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut. Our physician offices are open during normal business hours. Several of our primary care sites offer extended evening and weekend hours. Physician on-call service provides twenty-four (24) hours-a-day coverage for our patients.
DOPS Customers
We serve patients who live and work in Western Connecticut and parts of New York State. Patients come to us through our primary care sites, referrals to specialists and as patients of Danbury Hospital and its affiliated healthcare centers.

Our involvement with Danbury Hospital goes much further than just referring our patients there. It is where many of our physicians work. Several of our physicians spend part of their time teaching resident physicians. Our patients benefit from the research and lesson preparation of the latest and most effective medical care.
DOPS physicians also provide key in-patient physician services at Danbury Hospital for such areas as anesthesiology, critical care medicine/intensivist, emergency medicine, hospitalists, and pathology. Hospitalists are physicians who specialize in taking care of our patients when they are admitted to Danbury Hospital.
Our doctors will listen to you and take the time to get to know you and understand your concerns. They will answer your questions and give you the information you will need to make smart decisions about you and your family's healthcare. They will treat you when you're sick and help you manage ongoing medical problems.
