With just two employees who were both pharmacists, Danbury Pharmacy opened its doors in April of 1985. Today, the pharmacy's staff has grown to include eight pharmacists and nine technicians who fill over 9,000 prescriptions per month, as well as two part time drivers to deliver prescriptions to Senior Citizens.
Danbury Pharmacy is located in the Stroock building of Danbury Hospital. The pharmacy is open nearly every day of the year and offers customers convenient and extended operating hours.
With one of the largest and most diverse inventories in the area, including two lines of herbal and alternative medicines, many local pharmacists call on us when they run out of a medication, or are looking for a medication that they do not carry.
