Dentistry at Danbury Hospital provides various specialty services for our patients, including implant dentistry, endodontics, and periodontics.
- Implant dentistry offers a comfortable and permanent solution for missing teeth. Dental implants are a restorative treatment that allows patients replacement teeth that look, feel and act like their own.
- Endodontics refers of the treatment of diseases or injuries that affect the root tip or nerve of the tooth. The most common endodontic procedure is a root canal.
- Periodontics offers diagnosis and treatment for gum or periodontal disease. Gum disease is an inflammatory condition that affects the tissues surrounding a tooth, and is the leading cause of tooth loss.
Please note that all of our specialty services are only available through a General Practice Residency (GPR) in Dentistry program.
