Allergy-Immunology, Department of Medicine
Allergy-Immunology is a section of the Department of Medicine that specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunological disorders.
Our primary objectives are to provide high-quality patient care, and to educate our patients, students, and residents.
Allergy-Immunology at Danbury Hospital offers comprehensive assessment and management of a full range of allergic and immunological diseases including asthma, chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), bee sting allergies, urticaria (hives), and drug sensitivity. We develop personalized treatment plans to help each patient have the best possible quality of life.
All of our members are board certified in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics, and are either board certified or board eligible in Allergy and Immunology. We participate in research studies to find better therapies for our patients, and provide training in atopic, respiratory and immunological conditions to our staff and medical students.
