Skin Cancer Treatment

Skin cancer is one the most common forms of cancer, and is largely treatable if caught early. The dermatologists at Danbury Hospital are committed to the screening and early diagnosis of skin cancer, including melanoma and non-melanoma cancers such as basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma.

Our diagnostic services include screenings and biopsies of skin lesions to detect if skin cancer is present. If skin cancer is detected, our doctors provide a full range of dermatologic surgical services including surgical excision of moles and Mohs surgery for the excision of certain cancers.

Danbury Hospital also provides free skin cancer screenings to the public at the Praxair Cancer Center. Please see our News and Events page for more details.
