Pulmonary Disease helps patients with pulmonary function testing, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, bronchoscopy, and sleep studiesThe Pulmonary Disease section of the Department of Medicine at Danbury Hospital is focused on Pulmonary (lung), Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (in partnership with the Sleep Disorders Center). We provide comprehensive services and compassionate care for patients with critical illness, thoracic diseases and sleep-related disorders.

We are committed to innovation and research including publishing in peer-reviewed journals and incorporating state-of-the-art technology in the safest ways in patient care.

Pulmonary Disease is an integral part of the Danbury Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program, and monthly pulmonary conferences for the medical community. Our physicians also participate in teaching rounds with residents in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
