Inpatient Oncology

Our Inpatient Oncology unit is dedicated to the care of patients with cancer, whether those in their initial phase of chemotherapy or radiation or those who need help with symptom or pain management. Our nurses are trained in providing care through all stages of cancer and cancer treatment, and they work with patients to develop an individualized approach for their particular situation.

The unit is designed around the needs of patients and families, with beds and sleeper chairs for overnight visitors. Visitors are welcome during normal visiting hours and family members may stay in private rooms.

Patients who stay in the inpatient oncology unit have access to support staff from nutrition, physical medicine and rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, palliative care, the pharmacy, complementary medicine, and others who work collaboratively to promote healing and wellbeing. Our staff can also connect you with hospice care services.
