Because screening and prevention are so important, we encourage women who may be uninsured or underinsured to use The Connecticut Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (CBCCEDP).Financial eligibility requirements are based on Federal Poverty guidelines.
This comprehensive screening program includes breast and cervical cancer screening, and diagnosis and treatment referral services. All services are offered free of charge through the Connecticut Department of Public Health's contracted healthcare providers located statewide, including Danbury Hospital.

- Office Visits
- Screening and Diagnostic Mammograms
- Breast Biopsies
- Breast Ultrasounds
- Fine Needle Aspirations
- Pap Tests
- Colposcopies and Colposopy-Directed Biopsies
- LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure)
- Surgical Consultations
- Clinical Breast Exams
