Oral Surgery, Department of Surgery
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons treat diseases, injuries, deformities and defects of the mouth, jaws, teeth and face. At Danbury Hospital, we treat both adult and pediatric patients, and perform procedures on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
Our surgeons are all board certified and have advanced training in anesthesia to provide the highest quality care focused on patient comfort and safety.
The scope of oral surgery includes in-office procedures such as removal of diseased and impacted teeth and the placement of dental implants. We provide treatment for facial pain disorders, and perform inpatient surgeries including facial trauma repair, removal of cysts and tumors, and treatment of infections. Our surgeons also perform cosmetic and corrective surgery of bite deformities and birth defects.
Our physicians are participants in oral surgery and dentistry residency programs at Danbury Hospital, contributing to the education of new medical and surgical professionals each year.
