Vascular Surgery, Department of Surgery
Our vascular surgeons provide patients with state-of-the-art and sophisticated means for the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular disease in the safest manner possible.
We diagnose and treat peripheral vascular disorders using advanced technology including a fully accredited non-invasive vascular laboratory and modern operating rooms.
Our surgeons also diagnose and treat many conditions and are highly trained and experienced in both minimally invasive and endovascular procedures.
Commitment to Excellence
The Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory at Danbury Hospital works closely with referring physicians to diagnose vascular conditions, coordinate further evaluation and treatment, and assist with long-term follow-up care.
All tests are interpreted by board-certified physicians with added credentials in non-invasive vascular interpretation. Critical test results are faxed to the referring physician the day of the exam and the physician is contacted directly by a member of our staff.
The Vascular Laboratory at Danbury Hospital is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) in all five areas of vascular testing including carotid duplex, Transcranial Doppler (TCD), Venous Duplex, Arterial Testing, and Abdominal Vascular Duplex.
This places our Vascular Laboratory among the top two percent in the nation — or among the 30 best US facilities — offering high-quality testing for vascular disease.
