The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that all people ages 6 months and older get vaccinated against influenza. The 2011-2012 flu vaccine will protect against an influenza A (H1N1) virus, an influenza A (H3N2) virus and an influenza B virus.

Danbury Visiting Nurse Association accepts the following insurances with proof of coverage:

  • ConnectiCare, ConnectiCare Medicare Advantage

  • Aetna, Aetna Medicare Advantage

For those with other insurance carriers, the cost is as follows:

  • Injectable Adult & Child Vaccine $39.00
  • FLUMIST (Intranasal) Adult & Child $49.00
  • Preservative Free infants under 36 months $33.00 (Limited Availability)
  • Preservative Free 36 month and up $41.00 (Limited Availability)

Cash, Check, MasterCard or VISA are accepted as forms of payment. We will provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance carrier.
