Western Connecticut Medical Group, Inc. is a large, multi-specialty physician group serving residents of Western Connecticut and Southeastern New York. Acting on our strategic vision of hiring the best physicians, using best practices, and working with the best hospital, we are affiliated with Western Connecticut Health Network. Our goal is to provide our patients with safe, innovative, convenient, and coordinated medical care in the communities that we serve.
What makes Western Connecticut Medical Group unique is our ability to coordinate your primary care and specialty care needs with the state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services available through Danbury Hospital and its Affiliates.
If you need specialty care, our Western Connecticut Medical Group physicians have access to over 70 specialists within the group plus many other specialists within our region. When a patient needs a specialty consultation, the Western Connecticut Medical Group consulting and primary physicians work together to ensure prompt, convenient testing and high-quality medical care.
Our involvement with Danbury Hospital goes much further than just referring our patients there. It is where many of our physicians work. Several of our physicians spend part of their time teaching resident physicians. Our patients benefit from the research and lesson preparation of the latest and most effective medical care.
Western Connecticut Medical Group physicians also provide key in-patient physician services at Danbury Hospital for such areas as Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine/Intensivist, Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist Medicine and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Hospitalists are physicians who specialize in taking care of our patients when they are admitted to Danbury Hospital.
Our doctors will listen to you, take the time to get to know you, and understand your concerns. They will answer your questions and give you the information you will need to make smart decisions about you and your family's healthcare. They will treat you when you're sick and help you manage ongoing medical problems.
