Spiritual Care

Our Interfaith Chapel, identified by the lovely stained glass door, is located on the 5th floor of the Tower building (near the Danbury Hospital’s main entrance and elevators). It is open 24/7 for private devotion, prayer and meditation. In the chapel, we also provide a variety of inspirational booklets for patients, staff and visitors.

The Spiritual Care Department provides a designated area for private Muslim prayer with a prayer rug and several Qurans available.

A Roman Catholic Mass, open to all is held every Saturday at 4 p.m. That Mass is also broadcast throughout the hospital on Channel 54.

Specially selected interfaith, nondenominational programs are also available continuously on Channel 54 of the hospital's closed-circuit television. Each morning, we offer brief meditations with affirming, uplifting thoughts to begin your day. In the evening, calming meditations will help you unwind and prepare for a restful night. Ask your nurse or call extension 7885 for program times.
