Clinical Rotations

Clinical rotations are divided into four semesters with competencies that follow the Radiographic Procedures curriculum.

Clinical rotations are provided in:

  • Diagnostic radiography
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Operating room
  • Emergency room and Trauma
  • Interventional radiography
  • Computerized tomography (CT scan)

Second year students also do rotations through:

  • MRI
  • Ultrasound
  • Bone density
  • PET scan

And, optional rotations through:

  • Mammography
  • Nuclear medicine
  • Radiation therapy
  • Cardiac catheterization

School of Radiologic Technology at Danbury HospitalGraduates of the School of Radiologic Technology at Danbury Hospital are eligible to take the American Registry of Radiographic Technologists examination.

Clinical rotations through areas other than radiography are not intended as clinical training in those areas.
