The Community Nutrition Center offers nutrition information on eating right, recipes, nutrition programs and other good stuff for a healthier you. We also have information on the latest nutrition news and health topics.

Nutrition Programs at Danbury Hospital

Individual nutrition counseling sessions are available for:

  • Kidney Disease
  • Hyperlipidemia
  • Hypertension
  • Gastrointestinal disorders
  • Weight reduction
  • Pregnancy
  • Pediatric nutrition
  • Food allergies and intolerances
  • Radiation and chemotherapy
  • Celiac disease

Individual sessions last approximately one hour for a small fee. It's a small investment in your future. Dietary counseling can affect your health and well-being. Cookbooks for Healthy Eating

The Lean & Luscious cookbook is a low fat cookbook with over 140 recipes plus helpful information on following a low fat diet. For more information on how to purchase a Lean & Luscious low fat cookbook, please contact the Community Nutrition Center.

Speakers' Bureau
