Visitor Hours and Guidelines

To ensure a healthy and safe environment for our patients, staff and visitors, Nuvance Health has a restricted visitation policy. These guidelines will help you prepare for your next visit to Danbury Hospital

 

Inpatient Care: 8am to 8pm daily

Open Entrances:

  • Main Entrance at the Peter & Carmen Lucia Buck Pavilion (park in the Rizzo Garage, or valet your car)
  • Stroock Building (park in the Gold or Red garages, or valet your car)
  • Ambulatory Surgery Unit Entrance
  • Kelly Medical Arts Center (formerly the Danbury Hospital Medical Arts Center) (DHMAC)

 

Dining and Cafeteria Information

You’ll find pop-up snack areas and vending machines throughout the campus and have access to several dining options at Danbury Hospital. 

  • A buffet-style cafeteria is the Stroock Building on the third floor. The cafeteria offers:
  • Hot entrees and soups
  • Salad and deli bar
  • Grill station and pizza
  • Frozen yogurt

 

Bistro

The Bistro is open 24/7 and serves a variety of light fare throughout the day and evening. Locate the Bistro in the Peter and Carmen-Lucia Buck Pavilion (main entrance).

  

Medical Arts Center café

The café, located on the first floor to the right of the main entrance serves:

Continental breakfast

Hot and cold sandwiches

Soups, salads and snacks

Located at the Praxair Cancer Center on the first floor Stroock, the café features comfortable seating in an open environment and delivers:

Gift Shop

The Danbury Hospital Gift Gallery offers gift items including jewelry, scarves, apparel and handbags. It also sells inspirational items, like the popular “Willow Tree” line, plus locally made goat soaps. You’ll find a full selection of gift cards, magazines and newspapers.


We design fresh flower arrangements on the premises and create balloon bouquets. We provide complimentary gift wrapping and delivery during business hours within the hospital campus.
