A Tribute to Pamela – An Evening of Musical Entertainment with the Naughton Family
The stars shone brightly on May 7 when Tony Award-winning star of theater, film and television James Naughton, of Weston, and his family hosted “A Tribute to Pamela” at the Westport Country Playhouse.
The evening of musical entertainment honored Naughton’s wife Pamela, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2013, while raising an incredible $1 million to support WCHN’s three-year research study aimed at early detection of the disease. The study is being led by Richard C. Frank, MD, Pamela’s physician and an oncologist/hematologist at Norwalk Hospital and the director of clinical cancer research at WCHN.
Joining Naughton on stage were his daughter Keira, a Broadway and television actress; son Greg, a producer, actor, and singer-songwriter; and daughter-in-law Kelli O’Hara, a Tony Award-winning actress and Broadway superstar who won a 2015 Tony Award for her leading role in “The King and I.”
