Nora’s Story: “Made me feel as if somebody cared, and at that time, that’s when you need someone to really care.”

Danbury Hospital

Nora had been experiencing problems with pain in her heart and shortness of breath when walking up her drive way or for long distances.  With her heart valve team, Nora decided to have an advanced, minimally-invasive heart valve replacement surgery called Trans catheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).

With this surgery, Nora was able to go home 3 days after surgery and is now able to walk up her drive way without feeling heart pain.
