Program Benefits and Stipends

Resident Stipend

Residents receive an annual stipend delivered over 26 bi-weekly pay periods. As the resident graduates to the next level of training, the stipend amount is increased to reflect payment for additional knowledge, skills and leadership opportunities provided in their new, graduated roles.

Post-Graduate Year (PGY) Level and Stipend Amount

  • PGY-1: $63,560.00
  • PGY-2: $65,847.00
  • PGY-3: $68,289.00

Housing Lottery & Stipend

Housing is offered to first year residents via a lottery system. If selected for housing, residents receive rent-free housing on the hospital campus for the first year. Those not selected are eligible to receive a monthly housing subsidy.
