Residencies and Fellowships
Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program
Danbury Hospital offers a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program for two eligible trainees each year. The section of cardiology prides itself in providing cutting edge cardiovascular care to Western Connecticut, as well as to significant portions of Eastern New York State.
We encourage our fellows to think critically and function as an integral member of the cardiovascular team. In addition to a robust clinical program, Danbury Hospital Cardiovascular Fellows devote six months to research and have many opportunities to present at local and national meetings as well as publish original research.
Danbury Hospital sponsors residency training programs in:
- Internal Medicine
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Primary Care
The Podiatry Residency Program and the Anesthesiology Residency Program are facilitated through our partnerships with Yale School of Medicine and New York Medical College, respectively.
The hospital received Accreditation with Commendation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and is approved to sponsor residency programs by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
