DANBURY, Connecticut - June 29, 2016 - Danbury Hospital recently received a $12,000 donation from The New American Dream Foundation, which is celebrating its third year of contributing to the hospital. "This contribution is in honor of the immigrant community as a demonstration of gratitude for the services the hospital provides to all. We are proud to support the hospital and hope to continue to do so with the help of all of our community," said Celia Bacelar Palmares, Publisher of Tribuna Newspaper and President of The New American Dream Foundation, Inc. The organization’s donations to Danbury Hospital total nearly $35,000 to date.
The New American Dream Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that promotes our nation’s rich immigrant history, highlighting the cultural, social and economic contributions of all immigrants, while supporting the core American values of equal opportunity, progress and freedom in the areas of education, health and civic engagement. The organization provides financial assistance to individuals and groups that share in those values, through the American Dream Awards Gala, allowing them define and achieve their American dream.
