NORWALK, Connecticut – September 8, 2016 – Dr. Neil Culligan, Chief of Neurology at the Danbury Hospital and founder of the Western CT Concussion Center at Associated Neurologists, will discuss the symptoms, treatment and prevention of concussions on Wednesday, September 28 at 7:30 pm at Mark Twain Library. The library is located at 439 Redding Road in Redding.
Dr. Culligan is also Founder and Medical Director of the Danbury Hospital Stroke Center.
There has been a lot of media coverage about concussions, and this increased awareness has led to better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of concussions. However, there are also a lot of myths about concussions. Dr. Culligan will discuss state of the art truths and myths about concussions and what we can all do to make our children and athletes safer.
